Name: Dren Haliti
I have a Bachelor's degree in Business and Administration but I am also Certified in CCNA and CCNP. My hobbies are playing guitar, coding, biking and gaming I have been married for 2 years now.
I finished my bachelor’s degree in Kosovo, and started working as a commercial agent. It did not feel right so I decided to quit. I attended a professional school of IT network, and shortly after, I started working there as a teaching assistant.
Within less than a year, I was offered a job as a Network Engineer, and I was thrilled to work in a field that interested me. I worked there for 4 years, and I learned many new things. I was introduced to the basics of programming. By the time I knew it, I was already in Sweden trying to pursue my career in a new country so I could be with my girlfriend, now wife, who had already been living there for a year. I could have never fathomed that finding a job would be so difficult.
I had all the required skills and more, but I did not know the Swedish language. It came as a surprise to me that language or rather the lack of knowing a language could affect my career chances immensely. I decided I would dedicate all my spare time to learning Swedish as well as programming. I have now successfully finished SFI (Swedish for Immigrants), but my journey does not end here. I am ready to master the language even further, and to open the doors to new opportunities.
